    The mine was visited on Wednesday May 21st to select sites for drilling the cream clay shale known as the Warren Refractory Shale, so that a better estimation or reserves of this material might be calculated.

  • Mount Crawford. Progress reports to licence surrender for the period 29/1/1970 to 28/1/1971.

    61 shallow exploratory drillholes were completed in two of nine areas within the lease where it was considered that drilling might uncover additional shallowly buried resources of good quality kaolin. Nine of these holes encountered useable kaolin.
