Hydrogenation study of Lake Phillipson coal.
Lake Phillipson coal appears to be suitable for liquefaction, giving an 80% solvent-based conversion of dry, ash-free material to 61% coal extract and 19% gas, with the former product yielding 41% mineral oil upon distillation.-
