Meridian Petroleum Pty Ltd contracted Terrex Seismic Services to record the 2009 Hillview 3D Seismic Survey during February to March 2009 in PEL 82 in the Otway Basin. The objective of this survey was to better define structures at the lower Sherbrook horizon level in the southern most portion of the license area. The location of the survey was approximately 20 km south of Mt Gambier taking in the townships of Port MacDonnell and Allendale East. Total surface covered by this survey was 90.2 kms2. An irregular grid of Source and Receiver lines were spaced approximately 360 m apart. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 40 meters and a VP Interval of 40m for maximum nominal CDP coverage of 30 fold stack. No new upholes were recorded for this survey. All data was processed by Velseis Processing in Brisbane.
