The onshore Otway gross depositional environment (GDE) maps are the culmination of geological understanding in each interval with results from whole of-basin (chrono-stratigraphic) well correlation, seismic horizon/fault mapping, seismic facies interpretation and core interpretation integrated.
PDFs and Jpegs files of each GDE map and GDE map cartoons are available here. GDE maps were made for the following intervals:
• Laira Formation
• Pretty Hill Formation
• Upper Sawpit Shale
• Sawpit Sandstone
• Lower Sawpit Shale/Basal Shale/McEachern Sandstone
