An area located immediately south-east of Lake Harris and north-west of Lake Gairdner is being explored for possible buried economic basement-hosted Carrapateena/Prominent Hill style IOCG/polymetallic skarn style mineral deposits associated with zones of elevated gravity and aeromagnetic relief, as well as for possible epithermal vein style silver-rich metallic mineralisation indicated by surface geochemical anomalies. The only work that was done on the now relinquished portions of ground was a small amount of reconnaissance soil geochemical sampling (5 samples collected in the north-west of the tenement), as part of regional sampling that was performed on a 300 m x 300 m grid. Multielement analysis did not reveal any anomalous values, with erratic results returned for silver.
