Bedrock geology intersected by Ardrossan area RAB drilling programme. Mineralogical report no. 3076. (Appendix 1 in quarterly report ended 12/12/80).
The 64 RAB drill samples submitted were divided into 3 major groups of Proterozoic age : a complex association of metasediments, meta-igneous and metasomatised rocks, all containing variable magnetite.-
