Bedrock sampling and petrological examination (via the drilling of 266 shallow RAB holes, total penetration 3111 m), following the interpretation of airborne and ground geophysical surveys, did not succeed in locating a Middle Proterozoic unconformity, thereby resulting in a downgraded perception of the licence area's potential for hosting uranium deposition based on the Arnhem Land model.
