  • Hanns Hill. Progress reports for the period 19/1/81 to 6/12/82.

Follow up to stream sediment sampling near Oodnadatta in the Mount Dutton area suggests that anomalous nickel, chromium and cobalt values are associated with ironstone, and anomalous niobium with geodes. No kimberlites were discovered.

  • Mount Robinson. Progress reports for the period 19/1/81 to 6/12/82.

Stream sediment sampling southeast of Oodnadatta in the Mount Kingston area revealed no significant anomalies. Rare pyrope was identified in some samples, but no kimberlite were discovered.

  • PACE Theme 2 (drilling partnerships with PIRSA and industry): Year 3 partnership DPY3-15, Peake and Denison Inliers western flank Mesozoic sedimentary uranium mineral prospects. Project final report.

Approved PACE Initiative Year 3 drilling proposal DPY3-15 aimed to discover a roll-front style uranium deposit hosted in Mesozoic sandstones flanking the exposed radiogenic Peake and Denison Inliers, that is amenable to mining by in-situ leach...

  • Peake and Denison Ranges. Progress reports and technical reports to licence expiry/full surrender, for the period 17/2/1969 to 4/5/1971.

An airborne magnetic/radiometric survey was flown over the licence in 1969. Three anomalies located near Peake Homestead Ruins and the Coppertop mine gave disappointing ground survey uranium responses from traverses made with a hand-held...
