Santos Ltd as operator of PEL 5 and 6 in the Cooper Basin area of South Australia recorded the 1997 SA 97 Seismic Survey consisting of 2713kms of 2D data and 4 3D programme covering 1857km2. Recording took place over 17 separate prospects plus the Toolachee Field, Pondrinie 3D Extension, Moomba-Big Lake and Dullingari-Burke 3D areas from February 1997 until February 1998. The recording contractor was Geco-Prakla (Aust) Pty Ltd and processing was undertaken by Western Geophysical and Digital Exploration. This report contains various summary reports and listings for all recording activities conducted during 1997.

      Data Download for this record offers a zip file containing the following files relevant for the current 3D Seismic Survey: An archive Processed segy data file of a representative 'final" version of processing. This will generally be a Post Stack Time Migration version (PSTM) if prepared and available. File size for the processed data volumes are commonly in the range of 1-15 Gbytes and are largely dependent on survey areal extent and initial recording parameters. Loading notes to assist with the correct loading onto a variety of seismic Workstation interpretive platforms. As a minimum, coordinates for the 4 corner points are provided in grid coordinate format for a relevant map zone.
