The Geological Survey of South Australia has hosted HyLogging Workshops since 2005. One outcome has been the development of an example dataset that can be opened and interrogated with the free software called “TSG Viewer” , which is available for download from https://research.csiro.au/thespectralgeologist/ The chosen demonstration dataset presented herein is for diamond drillhole MSDP11 from the Mineral Systems Drilling Program that was undertaken in the Gawler Ranges of South Australia. By allowing TSG Viewer to operate as a fully functioning TSG license on this dataset, its users will be able to investigate the power of TSG before committing to purchase the software, and people who have attended the workshop can hone their newfound skills in a safe trial environment. The dataset has been prepared by CSIRO Fellow Dr Jon Huntington. Jon.huntington@csiro.au
