Beach Energy Ltd contracted Terrex Seismic Services to record the 2010 Calpurnus 3D Seismic Survey during Feb.-March 2010 in PEL 92. The primary objectives of the survey and the merging of overlapping earlier 3D surveys was to mature leads to prospect status and identify locations within existing fields for future appraisal/development drilling. A partial merge was created with the 2006 Neritus 3D and 2008 Modiolus 3D Seismic Surveys giving a total surface area combined of 313km2. The location of the survey was approximately 90 km west of Moomba and 23 km south of the Sellicks Oil facility. Total surface covered by this survey was 213.5kms2. Source and Receiver lines were spaced 280 m apart. Acquisition parameters were Group Interval of 40 meters and a VP Interval of 40m for maximum CDP coverage of 42 fold stack. No new upholes were recorded and all processing was completed by CGG in Perth.

Data Download for this record offers a zip file containing the following files relevant for the current 3D Seismic Survey: An archive Processed segy data file of a representative 'final" version of processing. This will generally be a Post Stack Time Migration version (PSTM) if prepared and available. File size for the processed data volumes are commonly in the range of 1-15 Gbytes and are largely dependent on survey areal extent and initial recording parameters. Loading notes to assist with the correct loading onto a variety of seismic Workstation interpretive platforms. As a minimum, coordinates for the 4 corner points are provided in grid coordinate format for a relevant map zone. An image file (jpeg or pdf) of a representative time slice through the data volume to verify the data has been loaded correctly.
