Comprises details of the operations, field acquisition, processing, results and interpretation of the seismic survey. A total of 43.5 square kilometres of 3D Vibrosies data was recorded. The survey aimed to investigate and more clearly define the Sawpit/Penola structure from which minor oil flowed from fractured basement intersected in Sawpit 1. Previous 2D seismic data did not porvide sufficient spatial coverage. The survey was successful in defining the 3D morphology of the Sawpit structure and has clarified the propsectivity of a basement fracture play. A confident appraisal of the commercial potential of this play would be obtained from an exploration well. Several other drilling targets have been identified.
