Energy resource exploration and production activities are licenced and regulated in South Australia under the Energy Resources Act 2000 and associated Regulations. The Department for Energy and Mining administers the Act on the behalf of the Minister for Energy and Mining. This incident reporting guidance note provides information for Energy Resources Act licensees, and the community, on the licensees’ legislative requirements for reporting incidents that occur in the course of carrying out regulated activities under the Act.
