This report presents a detailed statistical record of the State's output and sales values for petroleum, minerals and materials during the six-monthly period ended 31 December 2000. Please note that these latest six-monthly figures may be subject to amendment due to late submissions and any necessary adjustments. Any amendments will be included in the next issue of Resources Production Statistics. The first part of the report details the production sales figures for the latest six-monthly period and compares them with the previous period (Tables 1-8). Aggregate resources production for the 12-monthly period ended 31 December 2000 is listed by commodity in Table 9. The appendixes in the second part of the report contain the State's quarry production figures for the latest six-monthly period, in categories considered most useful to the industry. Individual product values are not included in Table 5B (Dolomite-limestone) and Table 5C (Quartzite- sandstone) because value data for the products have not been provided in sufficient detail by some producers.

    Notes: **** Please note, an adjustment has been made to a figure recorded in Report Book 2000/47 "Resources production statistics for the six monthly period ended 30 June 2000".  In Table 8, the total value of mineral products was recorded incorrectly as $396 625 608, when it should have read, $403 689 981. The correct total value was, however, recorded within that same report in Table 1 (mineral production for the 6-monthly period ending June 2000).
