This field guide presents an introduction to the geology and tectonics of the south-eastern Gawler Craton, particularly as observed at the Corny Point locality. Topics covered include the detrital zircon age distributions within the Corny Point Paragneiss, and the structural and metamorphic characteristics of the Donington Suite on Yorke Peninsula, pertaining to the 1850 Ma event within the southern Gawler Craton.
