During the period reported, test excavations were started on both the No. 1 and the No. 2 lodes, and two diamond drill holes totalling 156 feet 9 inches, one vertical, one inclined, were completed during February 1954, with another in progress....

During the period reported, test excavations were started on both the No. 1 and the No. 2 lodes, and two diamond drill holes totalling 156 feet 9 inches, one vertical, one inclined, were completed during February 1954, with another in progress. A camp was established and gravelled access roads constructed to each of the prospective lodes.
