With a view to conserving supplies of stone and developing them in the best interests of the State, a review has been made of the resources in the Adelaide metropolitan area. In this report recommendations are made for the introduction of legislation to free deposits not being exploited, and for the zoning of quarrying and other extractive industries in and around Adelaide, to reduce to a minimum their nuisance effect and the possibility of damage to property.
