Sludge and core samples examined microscopically but not in detail show a sequence on 70 feet of recent sands followed by at least 90 feet of Loxton Sands. Below 260 feet Miocene-Oligocene limestone continued to 479 feet at which 9 feet of glauconitic sandstone were penetrated. Paralic sediments of the Knight Group occured from 486 feet to bedrock at 922 feet.
