Examination of Cores 1 to 12 indicates that between 995 and 2916 feet Mt Salt No.1 intersected the Upper Eocene Dartmoor Formation and between 3142 and 3152 the Bahgallah Formation (Paleocene to Lower Eocene). Between 3152 and 3679 feet the well...

Examination of Cores 1 to 12 indicates that between 995 and 2916 feet Mt Salt No.1 intersected the Upper Eocene Dartmoor Formation and between 3142 and 3152 the Bahgallah Formation (Paleocene to Lower Eocene). Between 3152 and 3679 feet the well entered grits and silts of probably Upper Cretaceous age. Formation boundaries will be established when cuttings have been examined.
