The 4WD vehicle journey of ~22 km length from Arkaroola Village to Sillers Lookout, along the world famous Ridgetop Track, presents the opportunity to view some amazing landscapes and associated geological features that the Arkaroola Pastoral Station (Arkaroola Protection Area, 2012) has to offer. This excursion guide highlights some of the geological aspects that are readily accessible and lie close to the track along this route, and provides a generalised geological interpretation. It is by no means a highly technical or comprehensive excursion guide, but will serve as an introduction to an interesting area and its geology.
