The Geological Survey of South Australia has recognised there is great potential to explore for critical metals in mine waste materials across the state forming part of a new supply chain. This report has sampled waste rock, tailings and processing waste (sludge) at the Mount Gunson mine and presents the geochemical and mineralogical characterisation of the samples in relation to their critical metal potential.
