The search for additional copper deposits in the Kadina area was resumed on 27 January 1951 when a further program of exploratory Diamond Drill bores was undertaken. These bore sites were selected in an attempt to probe the magnetic Anomalies as reported by P.S. Benedict vide plan No. 50/422 (magnetic high correlations in the Kadina area). Five sites were selected by the Director of Mines along side of the roadway running North and South, the bores being spaced at 2000 foot intervals, these bores were numbers 1 to 5 with a prefix "Doora M.G." indicating their possible relation to the Doora load and that their selection was a result of magnetic survey. All bores were depressed at an angle of 35° to the South along the line of the roadway.
