The journey from Arkaroola Village to the Paralana Hot Springs presents the opportunity to view some amazing landscapes and associated geological aspects that the Arkaroola Pastoral Station has to offer, and the opportunity is open to the general public to negotiate this track by permission of the land owners. This excursion guide highlights some of the geological aspects that are readily accessible along this route, and presents a generalised interpretation of the geological riches that Arkaroola has to offer. It is by no means a highly technical or comprehensive excursion guide, but will serve as an introduction to an interesting area and its geology.
