TARGET: Base metal sulphides associated with evaporitic carbonates of the Cambrian Observatory Hill Formation, and sodium carbonate evaporite minerals (i.e. trona, natrite, etc.) in lacustrine sediments. EXPLORATION: Analysis of available drill core from SADME, followed by diamond drilling (2 holes totalling 863.6 m) in the Lambina - Welbourn Hill area. RESULTS: Drilling failed to intersect Cambrian sediments, and has revealed that a Precambrian basement ridge transects the area.
