Reports describe the ongoing field prospecting and downstream jade marketing activities associated with the Cowell nephrite jade discovery. Black nephrite blocky material extracted from the operating company's new mining leases (MLs 4130-4132) was slabbed, and representative physical samples were sent worldwide to potential overseas customers for their technical and economic assessment. Some minor initial sales were won, mainly to New Zealand processors.
