A consultant's detailed regional geological study of the northern Willouran Ranges, and then his very close examination of the apparent controls on known diapir-related exposed epigenetic / stratabound copper mineralisation, have identified three previously worked prospects within the upper Callanna Group sequence in EL 52 where it is thought some good potential remains for finding base metal resources of a size worth developing. These prospects have now been pegged under six mineral claims to allow future evaluation, currently planned by joint venturer Bridge Minerals to be carried out initially through a programme of auger drilling to gather geochemical and lithological information. The suspected relationship of possible carbonatite intrusions to the widespread diapiric activity evident within the licence areas was also investigated, because large-scale economic metal mineralisation is commonly associated with such intrusions elsewhere in the world. However, limited geochemical assays and petrographic determinations on selected samples of intrusive carbonate rocks did not detect any having obvious carbonatite affinities.
