Acquisition and interpretation of an airborne scintillation spectrometer survey, and the unhindered drilling and gamma and electric logging of 16 rotary open holes (total 3242 feet), were undertaken. Lower Tertiary non-marine palaeochannel sand development was very poor, and no radiometric anomalies due to uranium were found. In addition, unprospective shallow basement, possibly Cambrian, at depths ranging from 65-90 feet, was met with in 4 of the holes.
