Section 10 of the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Regulations 2013 require a licensee to prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) detailing the environment of the area included in the scope of the proposed activity. An EIR must identify any events associated with the activity which could foreseeably arise and pose a threat to the local environment. This EIR covers Torrens Energy's monitoring, maintenance, rehabilitation and decommissioning activities over GELs 571, 572, 573 and 574.
