To establish the geochemical fingerprint for proven metallic mineralisation that is known to be associated with the Bremer Fault breccia zone, 8 rock chip and gossan samples were taken for analysis from good exposures of this zone found in a road metal quartzite quarry on the Harrogate road, 6 km south-west of Tungkillo. Minor anomalous Cu, Pb and As were detected, but all bar one of the gold assay results were below detection limit (0.05 ppm Au). Access to the proven gold-bearing portion of the fault breccia zone known to underlie the Mount Pleasant Goldfield on the western side of the town was hindered by a private landowner's refusal of entry permission.
