Exploration on EL 6714, Ceduna Project, in the western Gawler Craton was initial focused on Ni-Cu-PGE magmatic style mineralisation around the Cooper Hill and Kalanbi Prospects, with a later shift to clay hosted rare earth element (REE) mineralisation. Exploration activities for the project included the review of historical exploration in the area, which identified a number of drill holes stored in the South Australia Drill Core Library that could be used for a study targeting ionic adsorption clay hosted REE mineralisation, focusing on the regolith. Drill cuttings from 115 holes reviewed (716 samples) were initially tested for REE with pXRF as a first pass, followed by selected samples from 49 holes (187 samples) assayed for whole rock analysis at ALS laboratories for more accurate analysis. The results of this work showed numerous holes contained anomalous REE and scandium, however much of the mineralisation was thin and too deep to target.

The companies focus shifted to other projects in 2023-2024 and the decision was made to surrender the tenement.
