Exploration for possible buried stratiform Pb-Zn-Ag deposits of the Aggeneys / Gamsberg and Broken Hill type, associated with magnetitic and haematitic quartzites within the Early Proterozoic Hutchison Group, has included acquiring ground magnetic surveys for field recovery of numerous aeromagnetic anomalies, geological mapping plus minor soil and rock chip geochemical sampling, follow-up RAB drilling to bedrock (29 holes for 768 m total penetration) with geochemical and petrographic studies of bottomhole samples, and re-logging and re-sampling of drill cores of two previous SADM iron exploration diamond holes. The tenor of all base and precious metal assay results obtained from the sampled rocks was low.
