No new palaeochannels were located. Pathways for the Billeroo West and Curnamona palaeochannels are postulated. The depth to basement is greatest in the north and west where a sub-basin appears to occur. Deep resistivity soundings were conducted over magnetic anomalies on lines B16A, BX and B14. A basement high is associated with an aeromagnetic anomaly on Line B14. The depth to crystalline basement on the high is expected to be 1200 m, and there is some mappable resistivity variation both on and off the high.
