Targets sought were either low to medium grade, high tonnage stockwork gold similar to that at the Eukaby Hill mine, or, high grade, low to medium tonnage quartz vein systems similar to that at the Saltbush Flat mine. Work consisted of an orientation IP survey, reconnaissance rock chip sampling and percussion drilling. Sampling showed that lead (+ zinc-silver) is widespread in quartz veins, but surface gold values did not extend to depth in most drill holes.
