An area of considerable biological, geological and cultural interest, including its wilderness character; geological features such as fossils, structures, stratigraphy, and mineralogy; the geomorphic story, particularly of the Pleistocene and Recent periods; very significant ancient Aboriginal rock carvings and sites; the possibility that it could become the core for very much larger national park.
