Limited Sirotem surveys carried out in an area 40 km south-east of Oodnadatta failed to define any Permian coal seams inferred to possibly be present as eastward extensions from the Boorthanna Trough. 200 m x 200 m loops were employed at 5 sites on a 4 km x 5 km grid laid out in the western portion of the licence area. No useable resistivity data was recorded from below 100 m depth.
