Exploration was undertaken north north-east of Olary for possible near-surface gold associated with Early Proterozoic quartz - magnetite - pyrite lode horizons, and with Adelaidean fluvial tillites and siltstones of the Umberatana Group. It included stream sediment, rock chip, soil, mine dump, and drill bedrock sampling (by RAB and auger drilling - 14 and 13 holes respectively for 49 m total), plus stored drill cuttings sampling and analysis from past Australian Gold and Uranium Co. drillholes. No significant results were recorded.
