Ongoing exploration for possible commercial deposits of Tertiary sedimentary uranium in the Paralana (Hot Springs) Creek - Poontana Creek area, included 48 rotary mud holes (total 31,042 feet) and resistivity surveys. Several good strength radiometric anomalies were detected near Paralana Creek in hole 77-44, where at least 7 radioactive mineralised channel sand zones were intersected between depths of 532 and 900 feet. More deep holes are recommended on this target.
