Base metal exploration carried out over several small sites of historical copper mining located 20 miles east-northeast of Leigh Creek has allowed the selection of certain areas for relinquishment. The Peal Box and Big Lode prospects were inspected on the ground as a result of prior aerial reconnaissance, but the mineralisation evident there was weak and unworthy of further work. Results of a technical literature review of the local geology are appended to this report.
