Exploration aimed to determine the mode of occurrence of uranium ore bodies in the Yarramba Palaeochannel, and to identify favourable drillsites. The 1980 drilling revealed significant mineralization occurring between East Kalkaroo and Honeymoon deposits, with further potential for finding other uraniferous palaeochannels and making more uranium discoveries.
