Exploration for sedimentary uranium deposits in Tertiary and Cretaceous sediments lying adjacent to the northern margin of the Flinders Ranges Precambrian basement outcrop, has consisted of rotary drilling (3 holes, total 1375 feet) and gamma ray logging of these holes plus of 4 earlier-drilled holes. Only background levels of radiation were recorded downhole.
