9 rotary holes were drilled for a total of 547m in order to test for sedimentary uranium. It was concluded that a suitable environment for uranium mineralisation existed in carbonaceous sands in this part of the Robinson Basin, although assays were low. Kaolin was intersected in some holes, and was regarded as potentially economic. Geophysical methods were recommended for further uranium exploration. A joint venture was suggested as a means of funding for further work.
