Exploration for possible Archaean volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits 100 km south-southeast of Coober Pedy comprised the drilling of one vertical reverse circulation hole to a total depth of 200 m over a Sirotem basement conductor. No indications of the target VMS form of mineralisation were recognised in the drilled section.
