In a search for possible economic stratiform copper mineralisation formed at the base of the Neoproterozoic Tapley Hill Formation, no significant anomalies were located during limited follow-up sampling of elevated Cu reported from previous stream sediment exploration carried out south-west of Mount Caernarvon. Minor copper mineralisation in siderite-quartz veinlets was seen to be widespread along the Tapley Hill - Wilyerpa Formations contact.
