Exploration for Broken Hill / Menninnie Dam type Pb-Zn, and later for iron oxide - associated Cu-Au, that was undertaken over an area located north of Kimba within and adjacent to the Pinkawillinie Conservation Park, comprised the acquisition during November 1994 and interpretation of part of an airborne magnetic/radiometric/DTM survey flown at 250 m line spacing and 60 m sensor elevation, and later on, of ground gravity, ground magnetic, Sirotem and IP surveys, plus aircore drilling (19 inclined holes, total 1147 m) and one 110.4 m diamond tail (cored in hole CRBD20) to test geophysical anomalies at two prospects. No significant assays were returned from analyses of drilled bedrock samples. Weak anomalism did not justify further work.
