Exploration for Cloncurry or Olympic Dam type Cu-Au-U and for Broken Hill-style Zn-Pb-Ag deposits in the Telechie Dam area, north-west of Olary, comprised a review of previous company work, the acquisition of open file airborne magnetic survey data, and the planning of a 30 hole reconnaisance RAB drilling program to test for cover or bedrock mineralisation related to magnetic anomalies. Announcement of the Broken Hill Exploration Initiative, and the SA Government's proposal to re-fly much of the EL area with detailed, 100 metre-spaced airborne magnetics, led to deferral of the program until receipt of the new magnetics during the second half of 1995.
