Follow-up investigations of possible buried channel redox front uranium mineralization on the edge of the Eromanga Basin, in the vicinity of the SA-NT border, included a geophysical and structural interpretation of available data, the drilling and geophysical logging of 16 air core scout holes (total 2438 metres), and stratigraphic, facies, geochemical and radiometric studies of recovered samples of the subsurface formations. Only traces of radioactive minerals were encountered within economically discouraging lithological settings, hence it was decided to relinquish the licence.
