Detailed geological mapping and rock chip geochemical sampling of inferred Telfer style gold prospects in the Waukaringa area, 40 km north-northwest of Yunta, have identified anomalous gold in silicified sandstones, quartzites and quartz veins, as well as elevated and anomalous Cu, As, Pb and Zn. More detailed outcrop sampling is required to confirm apparent correlations between Cu - As and Pb - Zn.
