Ground magnetic survey and gravity survey traverses were conducted south-southwest of Tintinara over aeromagnetic features considered to be prospective for base and precious metals. 13 rotary mud/diamond drillholes (respective total penetration 1048 m / 271 m) encountered diorite, dacite, basalt, dolerite, and metasediments buried beneath 44-120 m thickness of cover sediments and weathered bedrock. From the drillhole samples abundant magnetite was logged, but no significant trace metal values were returned from assaying of drill core samples. A number of targets were found to be inaccessible due to thick scrub or swampy ground.
