Investigation of interpreted aeromagnetic anomalies located north-east of Moolawatana, in an area with previously recorded stream sediment chromite, comprised a ground magnetic survey and aircore drilling (3 holes, total 261 m). Two of the holes were terminated in Cretaceous shales at 120 and 91 m depth without intersecting magnetic material, whereas the third encountered strongly magnetic clay and calcrete at 2-6 m depth. No anomalous metal values were returned from core sample assays.
