Exploration for possible economic buried Olympic Dam-style Cu-Au mineralisation, undertaken over an area located 15 km south-east of Arcoona Homestead, comprised preliminary airphoto interpretation and surface geological mapping, outcrop sample stratigraphic and petrological studies, and RC drilling (20 vertical holes, total 1841 m). Low grade Cu/Zn values (highest 2430 ppm Cu from the depth interval 58-60 m in hole PEB-4) were detected over an extensive area, dispersed within the Tregolana Shale and localised upon the underlying Pandurra Formation contact.
